The Mad Katter challenged these 4 words in a photo challenge on Monday. I JUST discovered that late yesterday (and my phone is FULL so I had to comb through existing photos, so bear with me.) SHADOW: Of the leaves. FORGOTTEN: I literally have NO memory of taking this picture on my wedding day. Where was this ape? How did I get a tiara? No one will tell me. TEXTURE: Best I could do, 2 kinds of rocks, grass, human bag of meat w/soft hair ? REFLECTION: Of the flash in the glass. And bonus? There are monkeys behind that glass so hopefully that counts for something. Yeah, I never said I didn't suck.
Thank you so much for joining us. I love all your pictures.. and for the record.. Dutchess and I have taken a lot of pictures that we have no idea when and where..
but we drink a little..
ok.. we drink a lot....
thanks again.. and hope you join us every week for this. I love looking at everyone's pictures and how they see the words given..
I'm glad you like it! I wish I remembered anything about that gorilla. It was late in the day on my wedding day. I did not wake up with the tiara either. Oh well. I love Vegas!
OMG! I think I died laughing. The gorilla is awesome! I wish I'd had one at my wedding... wait... I married him! Must have been REALLY DRUNK!
And I so want to scream "C'mon you meat sack with soft hair! We're going home!" the next time we're playing at the city park. Just to see the strange looks from other parents.
hahaha I like to call humans "meat bags" after Bender on Futurama. He calls all people Meat Bags. My fave blogger bitches gotta eat also calls people Meaty and that is the name of her book coming out in a couple months, Meaty :)
I love the pic of the gorilla, but I'm sad b/c I don't remember the gorilla or taking the picture. I mean, I'm not going to stop drinking over it, just saying.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked them. That first picture is THE reason I decide to do a Wordless Wednesday post, my magnolia tree is SO BEAUTIFUL for a week out of the year. The flowers only last a week, the rain and horrible wind knocks the flowers right down in the Midwest, but it is SUCH a glorious tree. I really love it. So hard. The monkeys are at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. I like our closer Brookfield Zoo better, but hey, a monkey's a monkey.

It's a fun challenge! I like that they can double for Wordless Wednesday. In my rulebook they can anyway.

ahahah I LOVE that ape and I'm still giggling because there are a few pics from my wedding that I'm like what the heck was going on there. :p
ReplyDeleteThat top picture is my favorite one. There is so much depth, shadow and texture you could have covered both with that one :)
You made me smile. The monkeys especially. Made me think of the trips to the Wichita Zoo with my kiddos when we lived there.
